Verstopfte Mähhauben, rauchende Riemen und verbogene Messer sind oftmals das Ergebnis.\r\n\r\nVor über 20 Jahren hat AS-Motor deshalb eine neue Kategorie von Aufsitzmäher geschaffen: Den Aufsitz-Allmäher. Die Aufsitz-Allmäher kombinieren den Komfort und die Flächenleistung eines Rasentraktors mit der Schnittkraft und Geländetauglichkeit der bekannten AS-Motor Allmäher. Die wesentlichen konstruktiven Besonderheiten liegen dabei in der Stabilität des Messersystems, den Übersetzungsverhältnissen der Antriebskräfte, der Form des Mähdecks, der Lage des Schwerpunktes und der Ausdauer und Leistungsfähigkeit von Antrieb und Kühlsystem.\r\n\r\nDer AS 799 Rider kommt dort zum Einsatz, wo herkömmliche Rasentraktoren versagen oder an ihre Grenzen kommen. Er mäht hohes Gras bis zu 60 cm. Möglich macht dies die höhere Schnittkraft durch eine Untersetzung des Messerantriebs. Ausgestattet ist der Aufsitzmäher mit einem Briggs \u0026amp; Stratton Motor der Serie 3 Powerbuilt mit 344 ccm mit maximal 10,6 PS . Er verfügt über ein geschlossenes Mähdeck mit Heckauswurf und einem Schneidemesser mit 80 cm Schnittbreite. Über die 4-fache Schnitthöhenverstellung lässt sich die Schnitthöhe im Bereich von 35 – 85 mm einstellen. Der Radantrieb des AS 799 Rider erfolgt stufenlos, vorwärts und rückwärts, über einen Hydrostat ohne Schaltgetriebe oder Kupplung. Die Geschwindigkeit lässt sich präzise über den Fahrhebel mit der rechten Hand steuern. Die Geschwindigkeit vorwärts beträgt 0 – 8,0 km\/h und rückwärts 0 – 6,0 km\/h.\r\n\r\nRobust, komfortabel und kompakt\r\n\r\nDer längenverstellbare Schalensitz gewährt gute Beinfreiheit und ermöglicht eine aufrechte, bequeme Sitzposition. Die leichtgängige Lenkung sorgt für ermüdungsfreies Arbeiten. Die robuste Konstruktion des Mähers basiert auf einem umlaufenden Stahlrohrrahmen – hohe Stabilität bei gleichzeitig leichtem Gewicht. Die kompakten Abmessungen der Maschine sind vorteilhaft bei Lagerung und Transport. Alle Karrosserieteile sind aus verzinktem und pulverbeschichtetem Stahlblech gefertigt. Auf Plastikanbauteile wird wo immer möglich verzichtet. Ein 15-Liter-Tank sorgt für eine hohe Reichweite.
